Book Review - Patricia Cornwell Red Fog -2

Released in 2012, Red Mist is the nineteenth novel in the Kay Scarpetta series, the award-winning author Patricia Cornwell.

After the death and destruction of Scarpetta returned home in Port Mortur, Red Mist again delves into the potential destruction and destruction that can cause bioterrorism when it falls into the wrong hands.

Red Mist opens with Scarpetta on the way to a Georgian prison for women to visit with Kathleen Lawlor, a convicted murderer and biological mother of Dawn Kincaid, who not only tried to kill Scarpetta in Port Morgauta, but is also responsible for the death of a child, college athlete and former Deputy Chief Scarpetta (and Kincaid’s biological father), spoken by the media as the menza murderers.

From the opening page, Scarpetta is nervous and worried about his journey to Georgia, feeling that something is wrong. When Kathleen Lawlor jumps to Scarpetta a note to call Jaime Berger - a former lover of New York and Scarpetta's former mistress - she knows for sure that everything is not what she looks like, and her reasons for being in the South have been manipulated.

Creating a convincing case based on the need for discretion for all participants, Berger presents information and evidence to Scarpett to suggest that the convicted murderer on death row is innocent of the crimes she was found guilty of the crime. To say that Scarpetta is angry at this moment is a gross understatement, but readers will feel for Scarpetta, as the events of her evening with the speech of Berger.

Within twenty-four hours, Scarpetta, along with Marino, Benton, Lucy and another medical expert, Dr. Colin Dengate, were among the murderers, including former prisoners, who seemed to have naturally died within the walls of Georgia. Prison for women. As death again gets too close to home for Scarpetta and her team, the devastation that began in Port Mortow comes to the climatic end for all.

In a typical Cornwall fashion, Red Mist will make you cling from start to finish when you find yourself in a world where Scarpetta and her team fall. From the heat of the sun of Savannah to the tragedy of various crime screens, Red Mist will keep you excited and want to know the truth with every turn of the page.

Cornwell again justified her reputation as one of the best criminals of our time, and her Kay Scarpetta series continues to receive recognition with all the novels she writes.
