Sound healing is quickly gaining recognition internationally as an integral part of the healing process for cancer patients. It is also effective in relieving pain and treating stress-related illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, insomnia, pain, and depression. Major educational institutions, such as Duke University and the University of North Carolina, have added programs that link body / mind and spirit to cancer treatment. Cancer prevention centers use sound as a vital part of the healing process for patients with astounding results.
I, like many healers, believe that the disease is a manifestation of disharmony within the body; an imbalance in the cells or a given organ, and that healing can be achieved by restoring the normal vibrational frequencies of the affected, outside of the harmonic parts of the body. Oscillatory healing, especially with sound, is a powerful way to restore the body to its normal vibrational frequency.
All matter is energy vibrating at different speeds, and by changing the speed of vibration, we can change the structure of matter. In this case, the healing process is initiated by training our brain waves and creating sympathetic resonance with the ideal vibrations of the bowls. When we add intent to frequency, the healing potential increases even more. This intention may be in prayer, repetition, and even silent attention, but it is best to announce it in a sound way.
Another way to say that this is a fundamental state of the Universe is a state of absolute harmony. Our ground state, because we are part of the natural universe, is also one of harmony and great lightness. When we disconnect from our core state through stress, distraction, illness, and the challenges of everyday life, it creates discomfort: spiritual, physical, and mental. The sounds of Tibetan bowls gently push us toward our natural state of blissful calm and leveling.
Dr. Mitchell Gaynor, director of medical oncology and integrative medicine at the Cornell Cancer Prevention Center in New York, has been using sound, including Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls and singing to work with cancer patients for many years. "If we agree that sound is vibration, and we know that vibration affects every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears, but through every cell in our bodies, it is so deeply that affects and transforms us into emotional and spiritual plans. " Sound can eliminate imbalances at every level of physiological function and can play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder. ”
According to an article in the journal Spirituality and Health, Dr. Heynsors studies show that the sound vibration of the bowls affects the rhythm disturbance found in cancer cells and causes harmonic transformation. In a blind study, he found that patients with chemotherapy had 50% less recovery time for those who regularly used bowls, and that when the cups were used in the early stages of cancer, during consultations with patients, their anxiety and stress was significantly reduced.
Imagine how to make a firm, thoughtful decision about the future that would improve in a context free from stress and anxiety. Imagine how the ability to repeatedly connect with this sense of calm during the discomfort of chemotherapy improves the quality of life of cancer patients.
A study by Dr. David Simon, the medical director for the neurological services of the Sharpe Cabrillo Hospital in San Diego and the medical director of the Chopra Center, found that singing was chemically metabolized to endogenous opiates, which act on the body as internal painkillers and remedies.
In my studies with sound using biofeedback equipment, I found that the harmonics created by Himalayan (Tibetan) singing have the ability to transform (brain activity, heart rate, and body temperature decreased during sessions), creating a deeply peaceful state life, the brain.
Biofeedback is a scientifically based measuring device used to help people gain voluntary control over several functions of the autonomic nervous system. Studies have shown that when breathing and heart rate are synchronous, it causes a resonant frequency in the body (like the resonance created by Tibetan bowls). It is extremely beneficial for the heart and the whole body. Disorders related to stress, pain, and many other disorders are predicted by whether a person achieves cardio-respiratory synchrony. During Tibetan gut sound therapy sessions, cardio-respiratory synchronicity increased dramatically, as measured by J & J Engineered Biofeedback equipment. The data showed that during the sessions of sound therapy, an increase in the activity of the parasympathetic nervous system and a decrease in the sympathetic nervous system was observed. The relaxation reaction was initiated and the stress response was suppressed. This means that the autonomic nervous system was balanced for most sessions. The resonance of the bowls caused slow breathing at about six breaths per minute, which had a beneficial effect on the heart and the whole body.
These results are promising in that the sound therapy of the Tibetan bowl enhances cardiac respiratory synchronization and resonance within the body. Thus, there are many disorders that can greatly benefit from the use of Tibetan sound therapy in the bowl.
My clients supported scientific findings with reports of everything from relief from pain and discomfort, cleaning the sinuses, shifting from depression, the ability to sleep (for those who have insomnia), vitality and clarity, feelings of well-being, great coherence and deep personal transformations. Clients report a fundamental change in their views on the space of phenomena, emphasize clarity of mind and body, improve creativity, energy, joy and a sense of peace. "
It is important to see what healing is and what the difference is between healing and healing. Treatment is "the complete biological resolution of a sick condition," according to Dr. Gaynor in his book, The Healing Power of Sound. Healing, however, has far more serious consequences that occur on the emotional, spiritual, and physical levels. It is a regenerative process that marries a spiritual awakening, which can have profound consequences for illness, disease, and all aspects of our lives.
Himalayan or Tibetan singing bowls were traced back to the shamanic Bon tradition, which preceded Buddhism by thousands of years. Dr. Gaynor mentions in an article in the journal Shamans Drum that reason (and singing) is still used in shamanic cultures, so that sound causes a trans-state of consciousness that promotes healing. Ancient Himalayan bowls are made of a consecrated seven metal alloy, which, with skillful stimulation, produces five individual and simultaneous tones, each of which has its own constant frequency, which vibrates with each other. Raw materials were collected, melted and refined, cast, reheated and clogged in shape and tone. Mantras or sacred chants were sung and filled intent in bowls. Their sound synchronizes intelligent brain waves and creates a therapeutic effect on the mind / body realization. ,
Singing bowls produce the original sound “AUM”: a fundamental statement of the metamorphosis of energy in matter. They change space, mind and time; Awakening cellular memory and healing the energy body. The act of listening to their fascinating overtones effectively stops the internal dialogue, “Monkey Thinking”. A person is transferred to the space of calm and balance, where the “Universal Chord” found inside each “I” is affected, connected and understood. The universal chord, if you will, is the primordial substance from which all of our reality originates, and from which our Universe originated. Although the vibratory energy of the bowls can be directed to a specific area for treatment purposes, they work more on a financial level.
These tools are used in meditation and physical vibration treatment. Their harmonic resonance is used for:
- reduce stress and pain
balance energy
- create a synchronization of vitality and spontaneous healing.
- effectively transform the consciousness into a peaceful and expansive meditative state. (trance induction)
- meditation
