First of all, I have to admit my general ignorance about the details of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), but I know that it works and has been based many times on its inefficient holistic approach. In TCM, the diagnosis is based on a holistic understanding of the inner realm of the human body.
In a metaphorical sense, TCM elements are like warriors or wise men inserted into your kingdom to save them from troubled invaders. Recently, my inner kingdom suffered from such an invasion, and it was guessed that, despite the fact that my spleen Qi was falling, I also had a kidney deficiency Yang. Imagine my surprise, and I just thought that I had runs, but, unfortunately, I have long used the last plan against diarrhea. I turned to TCM for relief.
Many expats have a supply chain of items that they believe are necessary for their daily survival. When traveling to China, tourists are strongly advised to bring common toilets, such as cold and digestive medicines, lip balm, sanitary napkins, and non-prescription medicines, along with an electric transducer. But these supplies are quickly depleted if you are a long-term resident. How many Imodium AD and Tylenol bags can you cram into two suitcases when packing to move to China?
Most people, unfortunately, are familiar with the scourge of travelers. dirrhea, which goes by many names, depending on the country you recently visited. After a grueling siege of my inner kingdom, I came up with the grief of a boiling colon — the “King-Emperor” because of my ruthless domination of every waking minute. Brown-Emperor has a small but important area — the bowls and the digestive tract, and when he is in residence, you suffer greatly from his abdominal tyranny. When Brown the Emperor rose, Pepto and Kaoptetat did not have it. It's time to enlist the help of TCM.
Paraphrasing Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, it's time to talk about many things, the Five Elements, Yin-Yang and the Inner Glow, cabbages and kings. The goal of Chinese traditional medicine is to restore the balance of the human body. Just like the physical world consists of land, sea and air, in TCM the human landscape consists of Qi, Moisture and Blood. Qi is the animating force that flows through all things (Qi definition can take thousands of pages). Protection against moisture and lubricates all fabrics (water is wet). Blood is the basis of bones, nerves, skin, muscles and internal organs (blood is thicker than water).
The medicine must be taken regularly, and, as in America, some medicines are taken with food, and some - before bedtime. I took small packets of TCM twice a day, and the effect lasted longer and longer each time, until after three days the symptoms disappeared and the problem was solved. Many drugs may have an unfamiliar or unpleasant taste - sorry, there is no bubbly, cherry or grape. TCM also justifies the old adage, the worse its taste, the stronger it is.
In the end (pun), I discovered that the path to good health begins with the mind. From now on, at the first sign of the Brown Emperor, I will start a fight with my ever-growing TCM offer. But I pray that I do not have a fever in rural areas, because I recently learned about the powerful "treatment" of TCM. The older generation sometimes uses tincture made with cockroaches to reduce fever. The mere threat of such vile preparation would be enough to cure me immediately of any complaints, although I admit that I have a painful desire to witness the collection process.
