 Universal spiritual vision -2

At the beginning, our ancients groped for darkness, looking for why they were here, first of all, what it means to be alive and their final fate in the midst of endless challenges and disappointments. People who asked these and similar questions felt the love of the Universe and saw the possibilities of life. On the other hand, those who accepted the circumstances of their environment did not see anything interesting in life and blamed everyone, including themselves, for the same problems and frustrations. Then there was no organized religion, but our ancestors, who lived with a purpose, realized that they are not alone and that they can rely on the Universal Spirit, which is manifested inside and around them. This happened not only with one group of people or with a few chosen people; this happened to people all over the world, regardless of their actions, position in life, tribal circumstances or beliefs. The same applies to you and I, who are on the same journey, and we can still communicate with the Secret, which permeates the entire universe and within us and enjoys the same guidance and love for our ancestry.

Everything has changed since the time of our first ancestors. Religion, as we know it today, has probably evolved from people into families into villages and cultures. In the process, many cultures appeared with different versions of what it meant to be alive, each of which claimed to have a real thing and destroy or demonize others who had a different perspective. But let the record show that people of different faiths, believers and non-believers have enriched our world in different ways and wrote their names in golden letters. Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948), a Hindu and great Indian leader, taught us the importance of Ahimsa, the doctrines of non-violence. Akbar (1556-1605), a Muslim who is credited with being the greatest Mughal Emperor, wanted Hindus and Muslims to be one. He was generous and just guilty. Mother Teresa (1910-1997), a Catholic nun, lived her life to help the poor, the sick, orphaned and dying, and became the light for all of us. Swami Vivekannada (1863-1902), another great Indian teacher and saint patriot, is credited with raising interfaith consciousness and promoting Hinduism to the world stage. Robert G. Ingersoll (1833–1899), a civil war veteran, American political leader and agnostic, was one of the pioneers of the Free Thought movement. Tenzin Gyatso, His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, is a Buddhist leader who teaches the importance of compassion as the source of a happy life and lives an exemplary life. Thích NhẠ¥ t Hạnh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, helped rebuild destroyed villages, create schools, set up medical centers, and relocate families left homeless during the Vietnam War. His teachings and practices cross religions, making him one of the greatest humanists of our time. This list includes atheists, Sikhs, Jains, Mormons, Quakers, Santers and many others who sacrificed their lives for our good, and let it serve as the LIGHT for all of us, that our beliefs may be true to us, but they are not the TRUTH! A common factor among these people is their humanity, not their religion. Although their religion, or lack thereof, may have provided the path they took to enlighten us, the fact remains: they are all people like us.

Let the record also show that no religion was saved, protected, or isolated from the destruction we face as people on this planet. Natural disasters in the past have not spared any religion and in the future will not spare any religion. Churches, temples, mosques of all religions were subjected to natural disasters in different ways. Moreover, no religion was immune from human actions in the past, and not one of them will be saved in the future. There are many examples in which people endured the massive destruction of rival churches, temples and masks. Let the record also show that people suffered incredible atrocities against other people in the name of their gods or religion. And in all these cases, the gods never advised their followers to refrain from their evil ways and the fact that they were able to fulfill their evil plans, with the result that the victims described what happened to them because their gods also did not protect them. However, it seems that these actions have nothing to do with the gods, but they have everything that is connected with the human desire to enslave others and direct human evil. The gods are created to legitimize their actions!

The truth is that no one was born with a religion tattoo on his forehead. Each of us was born in a certain geographical region and in a certain family. In most cases, we accepted the religious and spiritual traditions of our parents. We are Hindus because we grew up around Hindus. But it is not always the case. Some of those who disagree with the religions of their parents at a later age often choose a different path. Therefore, today it is often possible to find a Buddhist in a Christian family or a Christian in a Hindu family. The thing is that it makes sense, that it is right, that confirms our freedom, that gives us peace of mind and where the Spirit leads us. Thus, if there is any truth in religion at all, it will depend on the person, not on the religion.

However, there is nothing wrong with your believing that your religion is the only true religion, but there is something really wrong when you start to force your religion to others or when you start to judge others based on your religion. The dangers of doing any religion. TRUTH is the power it gives to people who believe in it. According to the Introduction to the Universe Holy Book, this will be the day when the world enters darkness again. It will be slavery, holocaust, ethnic cleansing, genocide and all the evil that the human mind can imagine. ” We can look at others and rejoice in the conviction that only we have the Absolute Truth and walk like Gods to terrorize our neighbors, but we should never forget that we live in a changing Universe. What concerns others concerns us, and we do not for a moment think that this will not happen to us. So the next time you think about being on top of the world and terrorizing your neighbors, turn it around and find yourself on the receiving side. You will soon realize that you are not well when you become a victim.

We could learn from the Jain teachings about non-absolutism or non-one-perspectivism (Anekantavada). Jains believe in multiplicity and multiplicity. The doctrine of anekantavada is that truth can be expressed differently depending on one point of contact. They use the parable of the elephants and the blind to tell the essence. In parable 6, blind people felt different parts of the elephant. The first person who touched the elephant's leg said that the elephant looks like a PILAR. The second person who touched the elephant's NEEDLE said that the elephant is like a ROPE. The third man who touched the elephant's throne said that the elephant is like a branch of a TREE. The fourth person who touched the elephant's EAR said that the elephant is like a big FAN arm. The fifth man, who touched BELLY the elephant, said that the elephant is like a huge WALL. The sixth man who touched the elephant’s tusk said that the elephant resembles a solid PIPE. Having felt the elephant, everyone claimed that he understood and knew the elephant and thought that others were mistaken. Then they began to quarrel about the truth of the elephant, when a wise man came who could see clearly, and told them that everything was alright with them, but not so. According to Jains, finite people cannot fully or perhaps understand the infinity of the universe!

One could argue that its sacred text is the word of God, and, as a believer, it is responsible for living by the word. The other could also say the same about his sacred text in the world of different sacred texts, and we could say that they are both right according to the teachings of the Jains. But in fact, everyone has the word of his God, not “GOD”! When culture writes a book about the universe, it actually creates an image in accordance with their cultural values and experiences. A sacred text may have a universal message, but it is still a creation of people at a certain time. This is not the work of the universe, but the work of people. In the past, some religious traditions have explained that “GOD” selects one group of people among its children in order to share their message to the world. Now we know that this point of view is imperialistic in the worldview. Religious imperialism is wrong, but most, if not all world religions, are guilty of imperialism at one time or another. These religions consider themselves to be favorites of the universe, but there is no indication, not even a hint that any group of people, culture, nation or religion occupy a special place in the cosmic scheme of things! The universe has no sacred texts, no chosen people, and no sacred places. Instead, the Universe is a Sacred Text, all creatures are selected, and all places are sacred! However, there is nothing wrong with who is responsible for living according to the word of his God, as long as he realizes that others are also responsible for living according to their gods!

It is truly a gift of Fortune and an act of Providence that more than one religion has survived to this day. Our history is full of attempts by the majority to destroy a minority in all spheres of life. For example, the Yoruba religion in Nigeria was demonized and castrated in the past because of the threat it poses to compete with well-established religions. Further, the religious imperialists never expected anything good from Africa and considered the condition of Africa at a time when everyone in the world would believe them. But there is a “GOD” who does not accept commands from people or parties with them! Stephen Protero writes in his book “God is not the only one”: “And there were coordinated efforts of both the Evangelicals and the Pentecostals about demonizing Yoruba Orisha.” Religion was also outlawed in the New World. According to Protero: “In the New World, traditional African religions were condemned as“ pagans ”and were often outlawed. Even the drum was banned in Haiti in the seventeenth century and severely limited in later centuries in Brazil and Cuba. “Religion has been preserved under conditions of constant oppression and repression, and under the clothes is still the same. Today there is a movement to replace appropriate clothing with real religion clothing and raise it to the status of world religion. Religion, in order to parade their works, as the only voice of the Universe, deprives others of their cosmic right to write their own stories for their people, for the world, and this is wrong. An idea or practice even minimizes the Greatness, Love, Compassion and the Greatness of the Universe. Slaves are free, and colonized nations have gained independence. Let the freedom of rain for all people now, here and everywhere! The sacred book: “This is evidence of Universal Love, that we have different views on the Ultimate Mystery. What would happen to us if only one species survived? Inquisition, suicide bombs, rape, racism, infanticide, slavery, lynching, nationalism and colonization will be on a smaller scale compared to what could have happened if common religious or cultural beliefs were preserved. "

Religious plurality has a long history, which dates back to 2000 BC in India. Faced with numerous gods and many religions, India could only help itself by pursuing a policy of pluralism. Nowadays, the United States, a Christian country, has become the most religious country in the world (Diana L. Ek in New Religious America). Obviously, religious tolerance in our society is no longer enough. Like us, other religions have built fascinating buildings to their gods or the Universal Spirit. They have physical addresses in our cities. They are our neighbors, and their children go to the same school with our children. We meet them in grocery stores and in hospitals. We get married and take part in many social events. In short, these are people who participate in American life. There is no doubt that they are here to stay, and we’ll better get used to the many religious and spiritual traditions in the United States and in the world. Of course, religious pluralism remains here, but what about religious pluralism? Diana L. Ek in her speech at a Gifford lecture at the University of Edinburgh during the era of pluralism explained pluralism, separating it from other responses to diversity in our society. According to Diana Ek. Pluralism is not diversity, not tolerance; instead, pluralism is associated with other religions, and this is achieved through dialogue.

Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists, including writers and educators, have been associated with some form of pluralism in the United States. The interfaith movement has been at the forefront of pluralism for some time, and the World Council of Churches holds seminars to address the issue of pluralism in our society. In addition, the project of pluralism, launched at Harvard University by Diane Ek, has made a huge contribution to this project through education, training, seminars and scientific presentations. Many organizations want peace on earth, but some of them are also concerned about sectarian domination in our society, they are more concerned about freedom of mind and freedom of the soul, because they belong to religious and holy traditions. Those of us who are in democratic countries should beware of what we do not take our democracy for granted. Recent events have shown that any group of people can break laws and choose whom they have ever wanted. It is not enough to be a democracy; we must all monitor our neighbors' divisive activities and initiate opposing effects in order to balance our society. Living in peace with all beings is imperative if we plan to leave a peaceful heritage to our children.

Claiming religious superiority and the conviction that “God is one on our side” interferes with our brotherhood. Previously, we were instructed to accept everything that comes from “GOD”, and sometimes without even studying the people who gave us “GOD”. We believed without any questions, and sometimes to the detriment of ourselves. We believed when we didn’t even like the presiding God in a religion or holy text of God. We believed because we were afraid of being punished by God of religion. We believed because we accepted their promises of heaven, their promises of eternal life and because of our respect for the sacred. It was in the past when our God was “GOD,” and our Sacred Text was the only TRUTH. Today everything is different. Many religions are now competing for our souls, and for the first time in human history you have a choice! And this choice is no longer due to the promises of heaven or the threats of a curse, because we have learned to live beyond pairs of opposites. Now we can carry our likes, dislikes and temperaments in our choice, because we are no longer afraid!

The study of sacred texts is one of the answers to religious pluralism. We can no longer depend, since Diana Ek expressed this in her speech during the era of pluralism in Gifford’s lectures on stereotypes and half-truths that we know about other religions. We can no longer pretend that our only true religion in the world of many religions. We are on the verge of a universal spiritual vision that religious plurality in our society thinks about. To ignore the problems of religious plurality and continue, as if our only religion is to skip the emerging spiritual reality. Brotherhood, unity, understanding, unity, compassion and universal love characterize universal spiritual vision. Study the sacred texts and learn about the religions of the world. Be the first to submit a study of Sacred Texts in your area. Be the first to introduce the study of sacred texts in your college. For the first time you can communicate with people who, apparently, were strangers to you because of their religion. Now you can learn from them, as well as from their religions, and enter into universal spiritual reality for the whole world!

Are you afraid of your religion? Are you confused because of different religions, and sometimes religions with conflicting religious teachings? Study the sacred texts and take spiritual quest! Growth potential is greater when we study other religions than when we focus exclusively on our own religions. In his 1873 book “The Science of Religion”, the German scientist Max Muller wrote: “He who knows one religion knows no religion.” For example, Mahatma Gandhi was a Hindu, but his life was also influenced by Jainism and Christianity. He learned about Ahimsa, the doctrine of non-violence from the Jains, and he was very impressed with the sermon on the mountain in the New Testament.

Perhaps studying other religions can break your comfort zone, but you can also learn a lot about world religions.
