Svastavitta - preventive therapy in ayurveda and its relevance in the present era-2

The word swastha means calm or equanimity with illness or emotion. Vrtha means following the rules. So, svastavrat is the observance of the rules of healthy life.

Each scientific discipline has one main goal and methods. The science of Ayurveda is that which is intended to give instructions on the protection and preservation of Ayu or life. But this cannot be taken simply as one that gives instructions only for treatment.

Generally speaking, Ayurveda consists of two sections - Svastavratha (healthy life mode) and Aturavra (on the study of diseases and treatment). This Ayurveda pays more attention to the importance of disease prevention - with prevention. Swasthavrtha is a section that outlines the necessary observations for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Athuravrtha is a section that is a corrective measure when diseases connect us.

Since today we are faced with the problem of meeting with so many new diseases, the need for people to wake up to realize their own way of life is more. Therefore, the ayurvedic manual, presented in the form of instructions on svastavrita, is very useful and, therefore, more important for time.

Now we have before us the statements of the Alma-Ata World Health Organization (WHO); the essence of which lies in the persistent pursuit of joint activities of various medical systems in order to ensure the use of all objects in accordance with suitability in relation to time and place. Since the health problems of modernity are so diverse and complex that they cannot be solved by the efforts of individual systems alone, no matter how advanced they may be.

If we need to develop this plan for such use, we must clearly know the fundamental approach of each of these systems, their goals and meaning, and the methods of their treatment methods. We must also strive to improve them by modernizing them, but not giving them the opportunity to get rid of any of their basic qualities in the light of new knowledge promoted by advanced systems. Now it should be noted that modern research, which is now taking place in the advanced fields of modern science, proved to be an excuse for the approaches of old medical systems and are aimed at developing new ideas and new research methods, research and treatment methods.

In general, the term sastra in Sanskrit is translated as science in Western vocabulary. But the goal of approaching the old sastre to people and the universe and the motivation of the new sciences, which were formed and flourished together with the events of the industrial age, are aimed at two aspects. Of course, they are not against each other. The shastras advocate precise instructions on what we should do and not do to promote our progress in the material and spiritual spheres in order to be free from disease and a safe life of happiness. The word sastra means that which is commanded. Here the topic of discussion is devoted to the relationship between man and the universe. How are people's actions and nature changes interconnected, and what needs to be done to correct the goals and methods (methods) of our actions in order to make them orderly.

Here, in this approach, it is important to know the basic structure and changes of the Universe. But this study should primarily depend on the nature of the reactions to actions. Science, which developed in the industrial period, tried to study and promote science with the interest and prospects of the consumer. The study of nature by analysis was carried out with the purpose of their structural study. Thus, the material data taken from them can be used to produce goods that can increase material comforts and pleasures and luxurious life. Therefore, the term "Study of Nature" came into vogue.

But the views of the old medical systems like Europe's hypopathy medicine (Grease) on the traditional medical systems of Egypt, India, China, etc. Are based and developed with the same appearance. While Europine medicine, which advanced later, progressed with a later look (industrial look), of course. By adopting such a perspective, they can also make a big step forward. Because this science has been of tremendous help in improving the quantity and quality of medicines for treatment, as well as the means that determine location and environment. The successes achieved in controlling and conquering the epimixes of infectious diseases are undoubtedly a great blessing for the world. The success achieved in the field of surgery is also impressive. But some serious omissions and weaknesses were also noticed.

Indeed, the development of branches of science as physics, chemistry and other (inert sciences) helped to create objects and amenities for the luxurious pleasure that seeks the life of people. But the study of a person who needs to use these articles of pleasure was not encouraged. The main reasons for the unprecedented spread of serious, even fatal diseases, such as degenerative diseases, diseases caused by mental stress and other stresses, are realized because of the inability of science to help citizens in the need to endure life without alienating themselves from nature and society.

Understanding this, today, modern, Western, scientists are also on the path of re-study; understanding the importance of the old look at sasstra, which gives weight the importance of the relationship of man with the universe. Thus, they also know that they are conducting research, paying particular attention to this old look.

According to Ayurveda, the body and mind are an integral integral whole, connected and reacting to the environment, mental diseases also affect the body and physical diseases. Mind and body are therefore taken only as two places of sickness, since the purity of the body makes the mind pure. Thus, a person with a pure mind, only healthy, is also true.

Because Ayurvedic concepts are based on n functions, they insist that maintaining a healthy mind and body is possible only when we understand that it depends primarily on our lifestyle. This is something that reacts incorrectly to the environment that causes the disease. When we talk about the environment, we mean that the two types of nature of the environment are constantly changing, because daytime can be distinguished as three periods, and night. The day has a time of noon and an evening like three periods. The night also has twilight, middle of the night and a period of the end of the night. These diurnal changes affected our body and mind. Our physical activity and mental mood also.

Similarly, the stages of age as childhood, youth and old age also create differences in the nature of our responses. When eating, the reactions inside the body, at the initial stage of digestion, at its middle stage and at the end of the stage are different when the season changes. There are also corresponding changes in the responses of the organism. Our internal conditions and functions also undergo changes when we suffer with emotions of happiness, sadness, anger, and so on. D. It is known that food taken when it accepts passions is not easily and correctly digested. Therefore, if we do not accept our way of life, our life must also correspond to the changing natural environment.

Irreconcilable conditions also upset the internal balance of the body. Then the natural actions of the body are violated, aimed at feeding, elimination of unwanted waste and the like once and only self-defense. Under these conditions, increased waste and impurities in the body that violate internal functions cause disease. Therefore, to avoid the occurrence of diseases, the focus should be on a critical analysis of studying our environment and our waste of life to correct the anomalies themselves. All ayurvedic texts begin with tips on the next course of life, which is in harmony with nature, created with a proper understanding of nature and the society in which we live. What are the protective steps or responsibilities that must be performed for all days and in accordance with changes in different climates in alternatives that must be made on the menu and in another routine, the precaution that must be taken to prevent diseases and similar topics are given to preferences in these texts. But here the insistence on the fulfillment of moral duties, which is considered absolutely necessary for a reconciled harmonious life with the society in which we live, deserves special attention. These are instructions for a disciplined, self-controlled life. To combat the disease can be avoided only if we continue self-control. Aware of the changing conditions of time and guided by the rules in order to harmonize the activities of our sensory and motor organs and mind with self-control and understanding.

It insists on the importance of disease prevention. This racer is wiser than treating a disease after it has happened. The cause of all diseases is a violation of these rules of conduct.

How we should properly manage life in accordance with changing times, a topic more ordered by Ayurvedic mentors, that which is presented in Ashtangardai Vagbat, is something that deserves our primary attention.

Diseases never affect anyone who is wary about dietology issues and behavior and performs nature-controlled and thoughtful action, has a mind that does not become slavish for passion, who feeds disinterested noble generous nature, truthfulness, patience and strong wisdom. Such a person does not have any disease.
