This can be explained by the fact that during the holidays people are happier, relaxed, carefree, spend more time with family and loved ones and away from the usual stressful environment. A happy, relaxed life increases durability.

Improving mental health

Many people these days see vacation as a form of mental or psychological escape. Changes in the atmosphere, climate, landscape, calm environment, slow pace of life and clean air are viewed by many travelers as a path to happiness and spirituality.

Improve physical fitness and lose weight

Obesity has become a global epidemic. Holidays and holidays can at least encourage people to do some kind of exercise.
