Holistic Medicine - What and to whom -2

Baby boomers - those born from 1946 to 1964 - are the largest population in need of medical care than ever before. Medical professionals and pharmaceutical companies are focusing on which pills, potions or surgeries that are likely to be used over the next 30-40 years turned into elderly people. Ironically, most people tend to be concerned about their health after something serious has happened. In fact, if we consistently care about our health, the aging process has little effect.

Baby boomers are expressing their concern for better health over previous generations. However, many do not know where to find information and options other than traditional western medicine (TWM).

Few people explore the many side effects of prescription or over-the-counter (over-the-counter) drugs - not to mention that prescription and over-the-counter drugs are formulated to capture and capture the biochemistry of your body. Prescription and OTC drugs cause blood pressure to be lower / higher or cause the liver to stop producing healthy cholesterol. In fact, prescription or over-the-counter drugs interfere with a person’s normal metabolism, and this is one of the reasons why prescription drugs kill people. However, conventional doctors rely on the propaganda of the unknown side effects of holistic health care to convince people that only prescription or over-the-counter medications are safe. It is NOT that they are afraid of the side effects of holistic medical care - they are afraid of people who are feeling well and they will not have their business to prescribe life-long pills and potions. Western medicine is profit.

If everyone knew that they could prevent any disease with herbal extracts, herbs, natural vitamins, minerals and supplements, as well as have peace of mind - the pharmaceutical and medical industry would collapse overnight.

Journal of the American Medical Association Vol. 284 An article was published on July 26, 2000, which describes the tragedy of the paradigm of traditional western medicine (TWM). The author, Dr. Barbara Starfield of the John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, describes how the US health system can contribute to poor health. Doctors, she said, are the third leading cause of death in the United States, resulting in 250,000 deaths every year.

This information is a continuation of the report of the Institute of Medicine in December 1999, but the data were difficult to compare, because it was not in a peer-reviewed journal. Now it is published in JAMA, which is the most common medical journal in the world.

DEATH YEAR:

1. 12 000 ----- unnecessary operation

2. 7 000 ----- treatment errors in hospitals

3. 20 000 ---- other hospital errors

4. 80 000 ---- infections in hospitals

5. 106 000 --- no errors, negative effects of drugs

250,000 deaths per year from iatrogenic — death caused by a patient by a doctor’s actions, manner or therapy, especially a complication of treatment — is outrageous !! However, most people still trust the medical profession. them, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Of the 13 countries recently conducted, the United States occupies an average of 12th place (second from the bottom) on the 16 available health indicators. The US rating for several indicators was:

o 13th (last) percentage of low weight

o 13th place for infant mortality and infant mortality 14

o 11th for post-neonatal mortality

o 13th year of life potential life (excluding external causes)

o 11th place for 1 year life expectancy for women, 12th place for men

o 10th place for living at the age of 15 for women, 12th place for men

o 10th place for living at the age of 40 for women, 9th place for men

o 7th place for life expectancy at the age of 65 for women, 7th place for men

o 3rd life in 80 years for women, 3rd place for men

o 10th place for age-adjusted mortality

The poor quality of the medical profession in the United States was recently confirmed in a World Health Organization study that used different data and ranked the United States as 15 among 25 industrialized countries.
