The second degree, offered by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is a bachelor of science degree with an assistant in diagnostic medical sonography. The program requires didactic course work and clinical training. However, the clinical part should be completed in Aurora St. Luke Hospital and Clinics of the University of Wisconsin or the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Many of the classes can be taken online, but residents of North Dakota will have to want to temporarily move during clinical training.
