The license for taxi drivers in New York is called “Hack License”. Officially, this is called a license for taxi operators in New York. The license allows the owner / driver to manage the Taxicab yellow medallion in five districts of the city of New York. Only the yellow Taxicab medallion allows passengers to be picked up from the street in the city. The Hack license, issued through the Taxi & Limousine Commission in New York, is the only license to work with Yellow Taxicab.
There are other licenses issued by the Taxi and Limousine Commission in New York to service cars and limousines, but they cannot be used to manage a yellow taxi. However, a Hack license can be used to drive a limousine or car. This fact makes the Hack License the most valuable of the NYC T & LC that issued the operator’s license, as well as the most prestigious.
Today in New York, about 44,000 drivers are licensed Hack.
HOW TO GET A LICENSE IN NICK
Process and requirements
o All applicants for a license for a taxi in New York must be at least nineteen (19) years old
o Applicants must have a class A, B, C or E NY driver license or a license from New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania of the same class.
o Most licenses in the state of New York are class D.
o To change a class D license to class E, you must contact the Department of Motor Vehicles and pay the renewal fee.
o Testing will not be.
o The fee will be about fifty dollars.
The problem with obtaining a license for hacking is that the applicable must not have outstanding parking or traffic calls. If money is owed to New York for parking or traffic offenses, they must be paid for, or a documentary settlement agreement with the appropriate agency must be submitted to the licensing division of NY & T & LC.
All applicants for licenses for taxis in New York must be citizens or legal residents of the United States.
Applicants must also attend a New York-certified six-hour defensive driving course.
o This course must be attended no more than six months before the filing date of the application to the taxi and limousine commission in New York under a license for hacking.
o The first provider of protective driving courses for taxi drivers in New York is Master Cabbie Taxi Academy. Classes are held six days a week. The price is 45 US dollars. Egypt $ 39 with online registration.
The medical requirement for obtaining a license for a hack is contained on Form B of the taxi driver's and limousine taxi driver's application in New York, which must be filled out by a certified doctor.
o An application for a license in New York Hack must be sent in person to a taxi and limousine commission in New York on 32-02 Queens Blvd. Long Island City NY 11101 Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 4:00.
o In Staten Island there is a second place to register. Opened Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in 1893 in Richmond-Terrace Staten Island New York 10302.

o At the time of application, the applicant will have to pay a fee of sixty dollars. The fee must be paid by remittance paid at the New York City TLC.

All Hack license applicants must be tested for illegal drugs. The Hack license will not be granted to anyone who has not completed the test.
o The Taxi and Limousine Commission in New York approved a drug testing center for new applicants at 31-00 47th Ave. Long Island City New York 11101.
o The center is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00.
o Payment must be made by remittance paid by Lab Corp. Inc.
o Persons applying for a Hack license and not tested for drugs will be referred to licensing standards hearings related to the taxi and limousine commission in New York. After a hearing, an application for a Hack license may be denied a license.
The most time-consuming aspect of how to get a hack license in New York is mandatory pre-licensing for all licensed players in New York. Training is conducted in subjects of taxation, conducted by approved educational institutions. The minimum need for training is a non-stop program. The program consists of a three-day course, 8 hours a day, with three main components. Geography / Reading maps, rules and regulations / Defensive driving and customer service.
There is also a course for eighty hours, which consists of nine eight-hour classes in the classroom and one day of testing. (NYC TAXI OPERATORS EXAM.) The eight-hour program is the original taxi driver training program on which the taxi driver exam in New York is based.
There are other programs that allow you to get an available license for hacking, which has no time limit. The most famous such program is connected by the Master Cabbie Taxi Academy. Programs are not limited in length as long as the student maintains a regular schedule at school and should not retrain what was previously taught.
Some unlimited programs include all fees required for the Taxi and Limousine Commission in New York. This service allows credit card holders to have a Master Cabbie Taxi Academy, making it available when a student is ready for each step of the Hack licensing process. This eliminates the need to purchase remittances for which only cash can be used.
The test of a taxi driver to get a license for hacking in New York consists of two parts. It is managed by a taxi and limousine commission in New York every week at the Master Cabbie Taxi Academy.
o The Hack license applicant must successfully complete the English exam as part of the exam. This is a low level ESL exam for basic English proficiency in four parts. There are thirty questions, fifteen of which are filled, and fifteen of them are multiple. The candidate must score twenty-one to pass the exam. Candidates who fail the exam are allowed to sit at the second exam for a different date. Applicants who do not pass the exam must submit a new application to the Taxi and Limousine Commission in New York for the second time if they want to continue the process of obtaining a license for hacking in New York.
o The final step in obtaining a license for a hack in New York is the taxi driver exam in New York. Taxi operators exam consists of two parts. One part is an open book, and the other is a closed book. Part one consists of ten questions. The applicant is allowed to use 5 (5) city atlas of New York City and the street addressee locator during this part of the exam. 45 minutes are allowed for this part of the exam.
o Part Two of the New York City taxi driver’s exam allows the applicant seventy-five minutes and members of 40 questions. Approximately twelve questions will concern rules and regulations and defensive driving. The remaining twenty-eight questions will concern geography, landmarks, highways, air, bus and railway terminals, etc. Candidates must answer thirty-five questions correctly, scoring seventy percent or better to pass the exam. Candidates who fail the exam are allowed to sit at the second exam for a different date. Applicants who do not pass the exam must submit a new application to the taxi and limousine commission in New York for the second time if they want to continue this process.
Taxi drivers in New York earn up to a thousand dollars a week or more.
