Using procedures for irritable bowel brushes, most people may be able to have their condition caused by irritable bowel syndrome, and not something more serious than colitis. Just knowing this can help you worry less about the condition and even ease the severity of the symptoms. Most symptoms often subside without treatment. In a few cases, the symptoms are mild and do not require any treatment.

If your symptoms are frequent and unpleasant, you need to consider the treatment options described in detail below.

medications

Medications play a significant role in alleviating the symptoms of IBS. Alosetron hydrochloride (Lotronex) is a peroxide single drug that is available for the treatment of irritable bowel. It has been reapproved with certain restrictions imposed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

For pain in the spasm

Antispasmodic drugs are usually recommended if you suffer from pain in the spasm. Antispasmodic drugs help to relax the muscles present in the intestinal wall. There are various types of antispasmodics, such as peppermint oil, hyoscin and mebeverin. You can take any of these as and when painful symptoms flare up. Most people tend to take antispasmodic drugs for one week or so to control the attacks of pain. Some people also take a dose before eating, if the pain usually develops after eating.

For diarrhea

Medicines for diarrhea can be helpful if diarrhea is the main symptom. Loperamide is one of the frequently prescribed antidiarrheal drugs for IBS. You can buy this medicine in pharmacies.

For constipation

Your doctor may suggest laxatives or nutritional supplements for constipation. Constipation is also considered the main symptom of irritable bowel syndrome. Laxatives are usually recommended for certain periods. However, laxatives are recommended only if an increase in fiber intake is not sufficient to alleviate the anxiety associated with constipation.

3. Limit coffee and tea to 3 cups per day.
4. Limit fresh fruit to 3 servings or 80 grams per day.
5. If you suffer from diarrhea, avoid artificial sweeteners found in chewing gums, drinks, weight loss, diabetic and sugar-free sweets and sorbitol.

7. Take daily meals and take your time to eat slowly.
8. Never miss regular meals.
9. Do not leave long intervals between meals.
10. Limit high fiber foods.

It is known that these nutritional supplements are made up of good bacteria. Taking probiotics can increase the good bacteria in the intestines, which in turn can help prevent unpleasant bacteria that affect IBS symptoms. You can buy these capsules at a medical store. Or you can also buy products containing probiotic bacteria, such as cheeses, yogurts, dairy drinks, ice cream, and frozen yogurts.

fiber

The fiber is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome. There are 2 main types of fiber-insoluble fibers and soluble fibers. Soluble fiber helps in some cases relieve symptoms than insoluble fibers. Soluble fiber found in nuts, seeds, ispagule, oats, pectins, vegetables and fruits. Insoluble fiber is commonly found in wheat bran, corn, some vegetables and fruits.

Regular exercise can help relieve symptoms. Stress and other emotional factors can cause symptoms. Exercise can help prevent and alleviate symptoms.

Psychological treatment

Situations such as stress, family problems, exams and repeated thoughts about previous abuse can cause symptoms of IBS in people. People with anxious personalities may find symptoms that are difficult to control. For them, there are various relaxation techniques, such as hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and several other similar therapies useful for controlling the symptoms of IBS. Psychological treatment is usually seen in people with moderate to severe IBS.

Other procedures

There are various additional and alternative treatments. For example, studies show that several Chinese herbal medicines can help relieve symptoms. But more research is needed to figure out their usefulness and safety.
