Improve your relationship - Meet EMT or Paramedic with wide eyes -2

We always hear about a nurse or doctor, and the first responders in an emergency are the police and firefighters. The news stories tell about soldiers fighting for our freedom abroad. There is one profession that is not familiar to us, and the work that these people do is just as important in today's world, the medicine.

They are there, as many of you know, save lives and are referred to by many names: EMT, AEMT (Advance Emergency Medical Technician) or Paramedic.

Although we know what they are doing, most of us are not familiar with their complex lifestyle. Depending on the sector in which they decided to work, they can complete shifts at 12 or 24 hours. As in many first respondents, they never know what situation they will be called upon, and when they appear on the scene, what they may encounter varies from bizarre to war zone to delivery.

Because of these unknown studies, studies show that in this area, 10.5% of emergency medical doctors (EMT) and 15% of experienced medical assistants had PTSD. * Of course, there are many factors that determine the degree to which each individual can suffer from PTSD, including the size of the city or city in which they work, where they grow, how long they have been at work, and what profession they were before, how to become a medic.

Do I really want to meditate?

Although each relationship has its own unique conditions for overcoming, for those women (including me) who decide to start dating or enter into a romantic relationship with someone from this profession, it quickly becomes apparent how difficult such relationships can be. Working with long hours, terrible schedules (including late or early morning hours), low quality sleep and constant (not to mention permanent) training is something that many women have difficulties with schooling.

The key to maintaining a relationship with a physician is determining whether: A) you are independent enough not to require the guy to be all the time (or when you want him to be) and B) if the relationship is what you are want to invest your time and energy in doing everything possible to maintain relationships.

If the answer to any of the above questions were not loud yes, I would recommend reconsidering if this is the right relationship for you.

Now, please do not misunderstand, for this relationship may be one of the most useful ones you will ever experience. I say that although each situation is unique, because in my particular situation you may not see each other (and forget about the holidays), it can work as a trashy hour, and you may have to be entertained for many days and days, Adding to the call - This is a notorious day job that most of us have, which further complicates it.

Not every doctor will have the same schedule, and depending on the guy and where he can work, each situation will be different. However, I give you an idea of what you can expect, what you need to look for and what to ask.

For those of you who might be thinking about meeting with a doctor, just hitting one of these useful relationships or having already devoted yourself to the heart of hearts, congratulations. Although it is difficult to maintain this connection, I am here to tell you that this is not only a good relationship, but also an epic one.
