As a paramedic who works in an ambulance, you will use sophisticated equipment and tools to provide basic life support (BLS) and extended life support (ALS). These are some of the types of medical equipment that you can find on an ambulance.
Equipment for the control of ventilation and air transport: includes materials and equipment used to regulate the air flow. Medical equipment designed for this purpose may include portable and stationary oxygen devices, tubes, masks, and bulb absorption (for babies).
Monitoring and defibrillation: blood pressure cuffs, thermometers and stethoscopes will be used to monitor vital signs. Heart defibrillators, commonly referred to as
