Modern medicine: Boon Or Bane? -2

Our health

In performing MBBS, I was subjected to all sorts of painful conditions and their modern treatment systems. "Treatment", which themselves could produce all kinds of diseases, and then their treatment ... the cycle continues. There is a certain degree of frustration, as when you enter a medical college, you expect a miraculous transformation into some kind of healing machine. Although, in truth, we go out only smarter about the human ability to solve most of the health problems that exist today. Even after several years of research, medical practice, at least in small centers, remains a hit and a trial.

I do not insist that the allopath or the modern system of medicine, as we know it, is ineffective. In fact, thanks to this constantly evolving system, we managed to reduce morbidity, mortality, prevent the spread of epidemics, and so on. This is the inability to solve chronic conditions, such as osteoarthritis, autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases, such as diabetes, etc. Comprehensively and effectively, what I'm talking about. In these diseases, allopathic treatment remains overwhelming, and not curative, and the drug sometimes gave worse effects than the disease!

I feel the answer lies in preventive medicine. Preventive medicine is a general term for a number of things, ranging from taking a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise, not smoking, etc. To more complex specific precautions, such as monitoring specific fasting or specific dietary regimes for various diseases.

In addition to prevention, a holistic approach to treatment should be taken that accepts other areas of treatment, such as Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Reiki, Acupuncture, etc.
