Old friends Ahhh! This is a feeling you should have when you think of a good friend many years ago. You should have a feeling of happiness, joy, fun and a good feeling of nostalgia. I am a trainer in life and I am convinced that you should not live in the past, always look to the future. But when I have good old friends, I think you should be able to laugh and smile.
I have a good old friend whom I know from the 10th grade. We have been friends for 27 years. When we were younger, in the summer we spent almost every day together. We enjoyed shopping, went to the public swimming pool, and then in the evenings we skated. Summer 81 is one of the best we have shared. We had such an explosion that we are still talking and laughing at it. It's great when we can look back on those good or bad times that we shared and remembered. The reason why I mention this is that, although we shared so many of the same events, we now live completely different lives. She is married with four children, and I am sitting without children. Although our lives are so different, we are still the best friends we were then. After a few years, we did not see each other, although we kept in touch. Most contacts were for birthdays and shared special occasions.
Last summer, we decided it was time to meet for lunch. What an amazing experience. When I arrived for lunch, I recognized my friend, although she came back to me. We had almost the same hairstyle, shirt of the same type and the same big smile that we always had when we saw each other. It's amazing how similar we are. Since then, we instantly exchange each other on a regular basis. She is currently helping me by editing some of my work. She is a blessing to me. I am so glad that we keep in touch and now even closer. Recently, she asked me to consult with confidence so that she could start a new job. I am here to help her since she is there to help me. And we continue to learn and rebuild through this assistance. So take my advice and look at good old friends. Focus only on that part of your past and enjoy a good grin.
I believe that you should never look back on a negative past, only a good past with friends. It brightens your life. So keep these friends and enjoy these memories! She is so special that I will always remember these memories. I will say again that we look back with pleasure and laughter, and this helps us in difficult times. We can still smile at each other, even when no one else can. I hope she already knows what she is doing for me. Its great to know that we can be there for each other if necessary. I love these memories and will always cherish them. She is mine best medicine and I'm sure that I am hers. As a life coach, I instruct people to never live in the past, but to use the positive aspects of it to continue or learn.
Remember that there is nothing special or beautiful, like memories that you share with a good old friend. I suggest that if there is an old friend with whom you have not spoken, you should contact him now. Do not forget to share the good times that you have had in the past. Making a phone call or emailing is a great way to connect. If you are missing this old friend, take the first step. Remember that old friends are the best medicine.
