Successful Ayurvedic Herbal Treatment for Aplastic Anemia -2

Aplastic anemia is a serious disease in which the bone marrow is not able to cause the desired normal number of red blood cells, leukocytes and platelets. This condition is more common in adolescents and in the elderly. Although an unknown cause for the condition is in approximately 50% of patients with aplastic anemia, another 50% have known causes, such as exposure to chemicals, drugs or radiation; infection; immune diseases; and heredity. This condition can be diagnosed using a bone marrow biopsy, which demonstrates the predominance of fat instead of the normal 30 - 70% of blood stem cells. Anemia, light bruising and bleeding, as well as an increased risk of infection, are common signs and symptoms of aplastic anemia. If left untreated, this condition can lead to death after about six months. Conservative treatment is carried out using blood transfusions, steroids and immunosuppressive drugs or stem cell transplantation, which can lead to a five-year survival rate of about 70%. Recurrences are common in this condition.

Although this condition is quite rare, in recent times more and more young patients can be observed with aplastic anemia in everyday practice, possibly due to the increased use of highly toxic drugs and exposure to chemicals and radiation. Ayurvedic herbal medicines can be successfully used to treat this serious disease, which has a serious long-term prognosis. Aggressive treatment using high doses of herbal medicine is necessary for a rapid increase in red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets to prevent the risk of bleeding and serious infections. Most patients who seek alternative medicine specialists receive regular blood transfusions to maintain a stable blood picture.

Regular use of herbs stimulates the bone marrow and changes the immune status of affected people in order to increase the amount of blood during the first few months of treatment. Affected people note a certain change and increase in the amount of hemoglobin and blood cells within two to three months and report that they do not require blood transfusions after about three to four months after the completion of treatment for ayurvedic diseases. Most people taking Ayurvedic treatment undergo complete remission within six months after herbal treatment.

After confirmation of a complete remission, the affected persons then continue the same treatment for one to two months, after which the drugs are gradually narrowed and then stopped after three to four months. However, patients still require regular monitoring in order to monitor for possible relapse and treat it in a timely manner. Recurrences, if any, can be treated with another two or three months of herbal therapy. Herbicides (Tricosanthe dioica), Nimba and Musta (Cyperus rotundus) have been found to be very useful in successfully treating and treating aplastic anemia. However, it is appropriate to note that the reaction of affected individuals to medications may vary considerably; because it is important to individualize the treatment in order to achieve maximum therapeutic results.
