It is also used to maintain our health. A remedy, such as a drug, is used to treat diseases or injuries. There are different types of medicine, we have medicinal herbs that come from different types of plants, medicines are processed in a hospital, etc. Herbal medicine, also called botanical medicine or phytomedicine, refers to the use of seeds, berries, roots, leaves of any plant, bark or flowers for medicinal purposes. Long practiced outside of traditional medicine, herbalism is becoming increasingly popular, as modern analysis and research show their value in the treatment and prevention of diseases. Some of us believe in herbal medicines, because it is pure from plants and other ingredients. Herbal medicine is also used for coughing, fever, toothache, and some other diseases that can catch our environment. Herbalists treat many conditions, such as asthma, eczema, premenstrual syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, migraine, symptoms of menopause, chronic fatigue and irritable bowel syndrome among others. The plants were used for medical purposes long before the history was recorded. For most herbs, the specific ingredient that causes the therapeutic effect is unknown. Whole herbs contain many ingredients, and it is likely that they work together to get the desired healing effect.

Some medicines can cause problems if you take them with other medicines. That is why it is important to inform your doctor and pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking. And some medicines can cause problems, even if you take them correctly. Call your doctor or pharmacist if you think your medicine makes you worse.
