Three principles of organizing your home -2

Often we postpone an organization because we are not sure where to start or how to do it. I found that the best way to organize any room, shelf, closet or living space is first, PURGE, second, SORT and third, FIND A HOUSE. This approach is effective and thorough, which allows you to get the most satisfaction, especially for the most complex premises and premises for an organization.

Purge. Choose a place or room in your house that you want to organize. Remove all from this space. If you are cleaning a shelf or closet, you can place items on a table, bed or sofa in one room. If you are cleaning a room, use boxes to place things.

SORTING. If you are organizing a whole room, you have to sort out how you are cleaning, since you will be placing the items in the boxes and you will not necessarily sort each box again. Label each box with category headings that you will place in them. For example, if you are organizing your bedroom, and you are clearing some things that really belong in the kitchen, then stick one of the KITCHEN boxes. Other labels may include: BOOKS, MEDICAL OFFICE, ELECTRONICS, FILMS AND CHILDREN'S NUMBERS. When you clear items, you will see which categories exist. If you are organizing a smaller space, such as a shelf, closet, or night stand, sort the items you remove from this area and put them in categories. For example, if you are sorting a night stand, after cleaning you can find additional books, numerous clips and pens, plates or cups of snacks from the second night, movies, a lamp, a cell phone, lotion, cough medicine and a cough for cough last cold, which you carried, and other different subjects. Place each item in categories such as plates and cups under KITCHENS, cold and cough medications under MEDICINE, paper clips and pens in the OFFICE-SUPPLY and so on. You can write categories on sticky notes and post labels with comparable items.

FIND A HOUSE. After you have deleted everything and rated all the items, evaluate the place you are organizing and determine what you want to return to this area. Return only what is favorable and effective for this space and what you really use. Avoid the temptation to put something back in this space just because you do not know where else it belongs. After you have placed the selected items from the sorting pile into the space that you organize, then you need to find a home for everything else. Some things can be easily removed, like kitchen items; just put these things in the kitchen. But some things will have to think. If you cannot think of a place where something is, and you really do not use this item (you will find only excuses for why you can use it), then sometimes it is time to say goodbye and let this item go. If everything else fails, and you cannot find a home or heart for everything to be in order, place the items without a home in the storage box or tote and name it: THINGS WITHOUT HOME. Place the storage box on the shelf in the basement or garage, where it is easy to find if you decide to find it.

I hope that when you go through the process of organization, you can be brave enough to let go of a few things and donate them to the store from second-hand. When you add space to your home by eliminating something, you will find more space for people and things you really enjoy. Organizing your home will help strengthen your relationships, redefine your inner goals and desires, and allow the world and energy to flow more abundantly.
