Ulcers, ulcers, those small, whitish sores that occasionally appear in your mouth, can be a real pain. They make it difficult to eat and sometimes even painful to say that it is probably because you are looking on the Internet for the treatment of an ulcer ulcer. Since there is not a single cancer, patient treatment, the usual approach is to try different things until you find the one that works for you. If you already have a sore tongue, cheek or on the roof of your mouth, here are the best things to try:
1. Using a topical gel or paste that has a pain killer is a popular OTC treatment for cancer. Benzocaine is the active ingredient in most of them, although some use choline benzydamine or choline salicylate as a way to reduce pain. You use these drugs by applying them directly to patients three or four times a day as needed. Many of them have an additional advantage in the same shield with a protective coating for several hours, which helps speed healing.
2. Another treatment that does not require a doctor's visit is to simply rinse your mouth with salt water (for example, a teaspoon of salt in 8 ounces of water) or commercial mouthwash (Listerine or Scope is OK) up to four times a day. Other options for this include mouth rinsing, consisting of milk of magnesia (the active ingredient in most antacids) or Benadryl allergy fatty acid, or a mixture of milk of magnesia and benadryl (half and half).
3. If the home remedy does not do it for you, it may be time to visit the family document. He can prescribe such things as mouthwash containing dexamethasone, a powerful steroid that should bring sore red ulcers. You want to be careful with this, although, since steroids can also have some strong side effects, use the medication only as long as they are directed.
4. Another tool in the military chest of the doctor is a new medicine, known as Debacterol. In preliminary studies specifically designed to treat ulcers of the ulcer, it was shown that the healing time is reduced by about a week (the normal healing time for most outbreaks is about five days, so this medicine is not needed, except for a few cases).
Whatever method you choose, be sure to contact your doctor if the sores of the ulcer will not disappear within two weeks. Wounds of ulcers that do not disappear can also be a sign of certain types of cancer, so you want to make sure that these are only wounds of ulcers.
