Astral projection for a moment, generally speaking, it seems to me that the answer is ... Oxygen. At first, I began to think about it when I noticed through repeated observation (and myself and others) that deep breathing often occurs during awakening. The more suddenly wakefulness, the sharper the breath. It made me think about bodily processes.
To be physically alive, two basic processes are necessary: respiration and blood circulation. Thinking about emergency paramedics, this will become clear, since the first rescue techniques are resuscitation and heartbeat. Of course, we also need other bodily systems, but in this sense they are secondary. You need oxygen for your cells! What for? Because it acts as a “link” between your physical and etheric and astral bodies, allowing your consciousness to be “attached”. physically and energy of your soul. (Conversely, you need to exhale to get carbon dioxide from your cells, as it blocks it.)
Perhaps oxygen is more like a dynamic gateway. for energy in that sense. This is, after all, a pure gaseous element that has a high physical vibration (as opposed to carbon dioxide, which is burdened by carbon). And it makes sense why yoga exercises concentrate so much on breathing in order to influence the flow of energy, for example, concentrating on “breathing” in a certain area activates it and exhales the opposite.
In the end, when you do not get enough oxygen, you leave again (from your physical body!). pins-and-spoke & # 39; or numbness of feelings when you cut the blood supply to the limit (don't you think that these pins and needles are the feeling of your energy body trying to anchor or something like that?) Hmm ...) Those who have experienced death back when their heart starts pumping good old O2 through their bodies ...
I am sure that there are many other examples, but I hope that this moment is clear enough for anyone to see the truth in it. I heard that it hinted at different sources, but, oddly enough, no one heard anyone actually describe it. This is certainly more than implied in many Eastern practices, but much less often mentioned in Western philosophies.
So what about Astral Projection? Obviously, we still breathe when designing, but shallow and slow breathing is important, allowing most of our minds to leave the physical body and go and do other things. In the dream, our physical bodies use minimal energy requirements to keep us alive. To this extent, only a small part of our consciousness remains with the body, so it needs only a little oxygen.
I wanted to mention the oxygen aspect of this, because I think this may explain some of the uncertainties associated with projection phenomena. For example, fear and arousal mobilize biological mechanisms, often increasing heart beat and pumping more blood into your veins and cells. Projectors often report that they are scared or too excited, especially towards the beginning of any experience, they can “shock” one back into the physical body or otherwise stop the experience.
I propose that this is due to the phenomenon of “repetition,” where what is felt in one body can be felt in another. This usually has a stronger effect with close proximity to the physical body. Thus, anxiety or fear increases your heart rate, and then the blood flow and oxygen levels you return. It is also worth mentioning that the effective use of breathing can be very useful for obtaining the relaxation necessary for the projection process.
