Hey Abington Hospital - Stop Blaming Victims for Increasing Medical Services-2

Abington Hospital wants to send medical malpractice victims into mediation to prevent them from failing. That sounds good? Do not be fooled. "Sue happy" people do not bring doctors from the city. This is just what you want to believe.

Let's face it. The Institute of Medicine published a study in which 98,000 people die each year from medical errors. It does not even take into account other patients who are permanently disabled or disfigured by the hands of doctors.

To add insult to injury, the medical community has a long tradition of concealing medical errors. As a patient, if my doctor squinted, I want to get some answers. I want you to be honest, and I want you to tell me how you will fix it. When you pretend that my suffering is not your fault, I will go crazy and I will call a lawyer.

And frankly, this is a consensus among 99% of our customers. However, according to Abington, mediation will solve all these problems. In the end, doctors will all return to the city, patients “complaining about happy, hungry” will get their settlement, and we all call it day. Does anyone else feel that Abington is changing some blame for the patient, without addressing the real problem that doctors are suffering from patients at an alarming rate?

I have a better idea for you. Abington Memorial Hospital - why don't you take some of the money you spend on middlemen and hire a few more doctors? Studies clearly show that medical errors are caused by sleep deprived doctors who work with “marathon” shifts for 24 hours or more. His general knowledge that 24 hours without sleep is equivalent to having 10 levels of alcohol in the blood (which either meets or exceeds the legal limit in all 50 states).

Honestly, I was reminded that the old saying: "You made your bed, now you lie in it." If you want to dissolve sleep, deprived of a doctor, in the operating room, so be it. But at the same time be prepared for lawsuits when they make mistakes.

This is just one of many ways hospitals can do something constructive to fix this problem. Let's stop blaming the victims for “our good doctors leaving the city.” Climb and take charge of Abington. This is the only real way to return doctors to the city.
