Comprehensive cancer advice

A comprehensive cancer consultation is the starting point of your comprehensive medicine plan. Comprehensive cancer counseling allows us to develop a dynamic and flexible picture of your health. This includes a description of the terms Integrative Medicine on the causes and effects of cancer, as well as why and how the mind and body adapted to the stresses associated with cancer.

When cancer is present, it changes the physical, biochemical, mental and energy balance of a person. These changes include how the mind and body react, and how energy and energy systems change to cope with the increased stress of cancer. These changes are unique to each person — no one person is ever the same, even if they have the same “diagnosis.”

We must carefully identify and be sensitive to these changes. Each treatment plan is very individualized. The traditional approach of “fighting cancer” without actually understanding and treating the whole person can be a rather futile effort.

Information collected during a comprehensive cancer consultation leads to your personal “health profile.” The health profile then serves as our main guide in developing a treatment plan. He tells us where to start, and what treatments, medicines, and other treatments are likely to have the greatest benefit at every step along the way.

Saving your changing needs is an important part of your health profile. As your mind and body gradually begin to shift from the “cancer regimen” to the “healing regimen”, the need for specific medications and therapy also changes and changes. Thanks to the frequent updating of your health profile, we can keep up with these changing needs, when and how they occur. The choice of medication is often very different from what one would expect. This is due to the fact that all needs are unique to them. The choice of drugs is based on your own documented test results and takes into account the whole person. The choice of drugs is not limited to "evidence-based medicine" in accordance with the name of the diagnosis.

A comprehensive cancer consultation takes approximately 2 hours. At the end of your consultation, you will be provided with a printed copy of the recommended comprehensive medicine program for the care of your specific situation and needs. Most care plans begin with 6 weeks of intensive care, usually with daily office procedures 4 or 5 days a week. Your health profile is then checked and further recommendations are given as indicated.

A Patient Care Advisor (PCA) will be assigned to you when you first meet. Your PCA will be your main contact throughout your assistance with us. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with your comprehensive health care program with your patient care consultant.

Your ATP will review your treatment planning, arrange any medical testing that may be required, and review with you funding for a treatment program.

Preparing for your comprehensive cancer counseling

You should:

1. Contact the office to schedule your initial appointment. At this time, you will be assigned a care counselor.

2. Your PCA will help you collect and send medical records to us for questioning a doctor prior to your appointment. Bringing medical records with you also works, but it may not be as effective as delivering them to us before your appointment.

3. The nature of Integrative Medicine and how we look and understand cancer is very different from the usual. You can invite someone with you, what ideas and opinions you trust to serve as a second set of ears. We often call this person your "Advocate."

4. Be well hydrated.

5. Avoid chewing gum or candy.

6. Remove magnetic objects such as bracelets or necklaces.

7. Items of jewelry that are not magnetic do not need to be removed.

8. Remove cell phones and other electronic devices from your phone.

9. Avoid using perfumes, colognes, and body oils before consulting.

10. Before starting a consultation, wash your hands and arms to your elbows. 11. You can bring a tape or electronic recorder for consultation.
