The fame of custom cabinets is that you no longer need to deal with lost space. You can work with your designer and cabinet maker to create unique storage ideas to fill every corner and crack. We offer you this example here: a small corner space has turned into useful drawers, where you can hide Tupperware, smaller bowls, dishes and everything else that you can fit!
Do you lose items in your closets because you just can't see them?
Deep cabinets are fantastic because they allow you to store more items out of sight. Unfortunately, out of sight is really out of sorts if your closets are so deep that you can't see from behind. When you include the sliding shelves in your kitchen cabinets, you no longer have to worry about lost or inappropriate items.
Do you prefer a place for everything?
Then put everything in its place! Identify for your designer and kitchen cabinet manufacturer all the unique (or less unique) storage problems that you have. For example, do you have a reasonable way to place your spices? How about using this corner space for a tall, tidy closet that allows you to store chopping boards and sheets for cookies? Or perhaps you can create drawers that allow you to safely store pots, pans and lids.
