Gift "Nature's Nature, Nature's Nature" - "Hay Fever"-2

The term “hay fever” is a bit of a misnomer, since most people with allergies do not suffer from hay or straw. The most common causes of watery eyes, prickly throats and running noses are pollen and mold. Every spring and autumn in most of the United States, the allergy season is in full bloom, and sufferers seek relief.

Allergic rhinitis is the medical name for an allergic reaction. Rin belongs to the nose, and with this condition it becomes clogged and often itches. It is estimated that up to 20% of Americans have some allergic seasonal reactions to spores in the air, such as mold and pollen. It is difficult to avoid these foreign flying objects, unless an allergic person wants to spend everything in the fall and spring indoors.

Although this allergy can be uncomfortable and annoying, for most it is not a serious medical problem. However, there are people who are at higher risk for serious reactions. Asthmatics are those for whom hay fever can even be a life threatening problem. Anyone who has any problems with a pulmonary or other breathing problem must undergo a medical consultation and consult.

Antihistamines are the most commonly used treatment for allergy symptoms. Behind the counter, medications to reduce symptoms have been around for years. Some of them are packaged with other medications to provide a wider range of relief. Decongestants are a common companion in many allergy treatments. Recently, several new antihistamine products have been introduced.

One of the disadvantages of antihistamines is their tendency to cause drowsiness. Because these drugs are outside the counter, some consumers tend to ignore warnings about operating equipment or driving. New drugs cause a little less sleepiness than their predecessors. Over the past five years, most new allergy drugs have emerged as a means of combating drugs, which makes them much cheaper for most.

Another option for treating or alleviating hay fever symptoms is nasal sprays. They are called anticholinergic drugs, and they are used in both nostrils. The spray helps reduce irritating dripping from the stuffing boxes inside the nose. Most medical practitioners advise other drugs to use sprays for too long, which can lead to excessive dry nasal passages. Some people may rely excessively on sprays. While no one has allergic reactions, symptoms can be treated with simple medications.
