
Coughing is not a disease; This is a sign of any airway obstruction. Cough may occur from the pharynx, bronchi, trachea, and pleural membrane of the lungs.
In Ayurveda, cough is known as Kaasa roga. This is dominated by the effect of disgusting vata dosha. But pitta and porridge can also cause coughing. Based on the causative factor, there are five types of cough - Vataja, Pittay, Kafadzha, Kshatai and Kshaya.
Valezhny cough dry and cracked in nature. A small amount of sputum is observed. Lateral symptoms - headache and chest pain. When you have a pittai cough, there is yellow sputum, which can sometimes have blood stripes. Other symptoms such as fever, excessive thirst and burning in the mouth and throat are also felt. There is a thick mucus in the coughing cough that is mucous and white in color. This cough makes the body feel heavy.
Kshatay cough is vata vitalization to the extreme. In the sputum there is shortness of breath and blood. Krzyayay cough - a very serious type of cough, in which in the sputum pus is observed.
(1) Use herbs to treat cough
- Bay Berry (Myrica nagi) Bay eggs are very effective in treating congestion of the throat, which causes coughing. It can even cure cough caused by chronic bronchitis. Its bark is an effective part, which should be taken in powder form.
- Belleric Myroblan (Terminalia belerica) The fruit of the belleric myroblan has excellent healing properties in the treatment of cough caused by Qatar.
- Betel (Piper betle). Betel leaves when crushed, turns into a paste with water and is applied on the outside of the chest, has amazing effects in the treatment of cough.
- Butea (Butea monosperma) Butea leaves can process overloaded and swollen throats. They are effective in treating cough and sore throats. The leaves are boiled in water. This solution is used as a mouthwash to obtain the desired effects. A cough caused by sepsis and sore throat is treated this way.
- Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) Clove can reduce throat irritation. Clove is more effective if the cough is made due to inflammation of the pharynx.
- Euphorbia (Euphorbia hirta) Euphorbia is a very powerful medicine in the treatment of all types of cough. It occupies a special position in the Indian herbology in the treatment of cough caused by colds, asthma and bronchitis.
- Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum) Fenugreek seeds are effective in removing cough that is associated with a sore throat. The seeds are boiled in water for half an hour, and this water is used for rinsing.
- Garlic (Allium sativum) Garlic is an excellent remedy for whooping cough. Two to three pieces of garlic syrup should be taken two to three times a day in case of whooping cough. If symptoms persist, persist or with a strong cough, the dosage should be increased.
- Henna (Lawsonia inermis) Henna is the ultimate remedy for sore throat and cough problems.
(2) Dietary treatments for cough
- Avoid cold foods, as this can aggravate the throat even more. Water that is drunk should also be slightly heated before drinking.
- Use old rice in the diet. Wheat can also be used beneficially.
- Do not use any fruits or vegetables that may cause excessive cooling of the body. Food such as cucumbers, green bananas, papayas, watermelons and oranges should be strictly avoided.
- Fennel seeds are effective in treating cough. They should be taken along with figs to achieve the best results.
3 Ayurvedic cough treatment
- Ayurvedic doctors prescribe several different types of drugs, depending on what type of cough is observed. a) If the cough is of a wadding type, then canakasawa or kantakarevaela are prescribed. b) If the cough is of the pittai type, then sitopaladi choorna is preferable in combination with chandansava or vasarishta. Vasawaleha and Matulungadi avaleha may also be prescribed. b) If the cough is of the Kafya type, then tricata, triphala, guggulu and shiladžit are the drugs of choice.
(4) Home Medicines
- The pulp of the fruit of the belleric myroblan is mixed with long pepper, salt and honey. This should be done once a day.
- Clove oil mixed with garlic and honey helps to eliminate spasmodic cough, which are produced in tuberculosis, asthma and bronchitis. This mixture should be taken every night before bed.
- Prepare ginger extract. Sweeten it with honey. Take this in a teaspoon three to four times a day. Positive results will be confirmed.
- Prepare a mixture of extract of leaves of Tulsi (Holy Basil) with ginger and honey. This is better than the aforementioned cough treatment. This mixture should be taken if the cough is serious and is caused due to some serious diseases, such as tuberculosis, bronchitis, etc.
- Make a decoction of licorice in honey. Consume this broth so that it is in good contact with the inner lining of the throat. It will cure coughing and a feeling of irritation in the throat.
- A very simple way to stop coughing at night is to place three or four pieces of long pepper in your mouth. Stir them slowly so that their extract oozes into the mouth. As long as the pepper stays in the mouth, the coughing desire will be suppressed, and at night you will get restful sleep.
- It is known that it is known that cleaning up sputum in the chest cavity. This leads to the elimination of cough.
- Make cardamom powder and dissolve it in water. Take it thrice a day. This will keep all types of cough at bay.
