Fate or choice? How Aromatherapy Reveals Your True Self -2

In my last article, I said that my client was recovering with more than 10 years of anxiety - she usually had a heartbeat when she was going to a place of lower elevation. The heartbeat problem made her unable to drive, she didn’t even have the courage to start the car’s engine. The problem was solved using an aromatherapy inhaler. She regained her confidence after she tried the inhaler. The recovery process took two months. During this time there were complications, possibly due to the fact that she had had breast cancer before.

While she was using aromatherapy, she was eating the wrong foods that caused her stomach pain. Liquid leaked from her wound. This symptom lasted for a month without any signs of improvement. I asked her to seek medical help, but she refused.

I gave her another inhaler to ease her anxiety. After inhalation for three days (3 times a day) miracles occurred. Her pain was completely stopped, and there were no signs of fluid from her wounds. At the same time, her anxiety seemed to disappear. Her heartbeat was gone. For the first time in several years, she tried to drive a car. I advised her to take a driving course, but she decided not to.

The inhaler I made for her includes [the formulation is adapted from Butje (2014) (1)]:

5 drops of rose (Pink Damask)

5 drops of orange (Citrus sinensis)

5 drops patchouli (Boarded cab)

According to Battaglia (2003) 2, the therapeutic properties of the combination are as follows:

Rose is associated with the heart. It heals emotionally and is good for people with palpitations. It also soothes those who have agitation, irritation and anxiety. Orange is emotionally uplifting; he can move the stuck energy. Its soothing nature can be used to calm people with anxiety. Patchouli is grounded, soothes and calms. This can ease the stress and anxiety of the person.

She told me that the inhaler resembles the Chinese medicine "Yunnan Bai Yao" because she helped her heal the wound. In fact, she again injured the wound before it was completely healed, and it was painful. She used the inhaler several times and stopped the pain. Since it cannot be said that the inhaler is a version of Yunnan Bai Yao, additional research is needed to test it.

I made this inhaler to alleviate her anxiety, without learning its other functions. What I learned from her treatment was that breathing in essential oils can help heal pain (Aromahead 2013). The oils were able to heal the wound without topical application.

Now her future looks brighter. I saw that she had no desire to change her lifestyle. She is jealous of my lifestyle, as my husband supports my efforts financially and logically. She expects her husband to support her just as my husband does. I suggested she consult with a psychologist to find the best option for her life.

After her recovery, her face glowed. She had black spots, but now they are mostly gone. Her skin has become more moist, more fair and healthy, which indicates that she is in better health than before.

To help her calm her “unlimited” desires, I made her an inhaler as follows [the formulation is adapted from Chan (2015) [4]]:

2 drops of Clary Sage (Salvia Scleria)

5 drops of cardamom (Cardamom Elettaria)

5 drops of incense (Boswellia carteri)

Battaglia (2003) mentions in his book the therapeutic properties of the above combination:

Cardamom is a tonic for the nervous system. I chose this oil because the client has chronic anxiety, which depletes a lot of energy. It is also a head that can keep my client in sight. Clary sage is a general tonic for the body, it brings calm to the nervous system.

I expect her mind to clear up, that she has the motivation to start a new life and that her emotional wound will be healed.

After using the above oils for three days, her voice became very clear. She could clearly and vividly express herself. I discovered that she was biased towards expensive items, and she wanted Rose essential oil and nothing else. However, I encouraged her to try this inhaler, as he could sleep better. Our body will heal our diseases when it is at rest. When we struggle or have an emotional problem, we may not be able to feel the right thing, because there is a distortion in our perception. Since I am not a psychiatrist, I cannot diagnose whether she is completely healed or not. I can say that her life has returned to normal.

I used it with people with epilepsy or PTSD to refer to their nasal conflicts or breathing problems. Feedback has been very positive. This improved their emotions and helped them to clear their accumulation and stuck energy.

How far can aromatherapy go to help heal? In truth, this is just a part of the integrative process. Teamwork and combined resources should be considered in healing protocols. There is always a temptation to expect more, but sometimes better. In some cases, it works better if we refer the client to another health care provider. The story of her recovery will continue, but who will be responsible for his life if he or she leaves her in fate?
