 Natural Throat Therapy -2

A sore throat is usually caused by a virus such as the common cold, the flu or Epstein Barr. In some cases, this can be caused by bacteria such as streptococcus or mycoplasma. Repeated pain is more often caused by allergies, acid reflux, excessive use of voice, sinusitis, or chronic infection.

Typical symptoms, such as pain and sore throat, may be accompanied by hoarseness, swollen glands, fever, chills, headache, respiratory symptoms and in some cases, digestive disorders.

Conventional throat treatment

Most doctors recommend rest, pain killers and plenty of fluids to treat this disease. If they suspect that this has a bacterial cause, then antibiotics can be prescribed.

Treatment of angina

Fortunately, there are many natural remedies that you can usually find at home to treat this condition.

Sea salt and cayenne pepper pot

To clear the throat and relieve the pain, rinse a quarter of a teaspoon of salt into a quarter of a cup of warm water. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to calm the nerves of the throat. Rinse every hour or as needed.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with one teaspoon of honey (preferably Manuka honey) in 1/3 cup of hot water. Slowly pull as needed.

Turmeric remedy

Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with a teaspoon of honey and slowly sip.

Hot Lemon Tea

Make up hot lemon tea - just add juice from half a lemon to a cup of hot water. To add punch add some grated ginger, garlic and cayenne pepper.

Ice melting

If your throat is so bad that it is difficult to swallow, then put an ice cube in your mouth and let it melt. This can temporarily stop the pain and keep you hydrated.

Heat bag

Place a heated bag of wheat or a bottle of hot water through your throat and neck to ease discomfort and increase circulation in the area.

Essential oils

Aromatherapy oils, such as tea tree, lavender, eucalyptus and thyme, are useful supplements if there are respiratory symptoms, such as a runny nose, cough or lungs. These oils can be added to hot water, inhaled, or added to a bath or humidifier.

Garlic

Garlic is a well-known antimicrobial drug that is often recommended as an effective treatment for the throat. I tell my patients to eat at least a clove of garlic a day — preferably raw or added to soups, teas, or dressings.

Chicken soup

Chicken soup is a well-known treatment for sore throat used to alleviate congestion and discomfort. Chicken fibrosis soup has been shown to be high in amino acid cysteine, which helps thin mucous membranes and removes them from the body. So dig up your old grandmother's recipe, cook it and enjoy!

Vitamin C

A popular treatment treatment is vitamin C. Most homes will have a supply of vitamin C hidden somewhere. Take at least 3-5 grams per day to increase immunity.
