The “New Look” artist Usher Raymond continues to grow after more than a decade of service. -2

It often happens that when celebrities achieve certain levels of success, they participate in charitable initiatives or take the final step to form their own charitable organization. After a successful breakthrough in the musical genre of American R & B music in the 1990s, Usher Raymond IV (simply known as “Usher”) did just that, finding a non-profit organization named New Look Foundation ,

At the age of thirteen, Asher signed a contract with the first recording contract, and before the age of 20 his first album hit billboard Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums charts. Today, he is still considered a pop icon with recent singles in the top charts, not only in the United States, but also in the international charts. Asher attributes most of his success to the hard work and support provided by his mother and grandmother.

In response to the beginning of trends in the performance of younger youth and the desire to provide a source of support and inspiration, he founded the New Look Foundation in 1999. The non-profit organization "supports young people when they use their creativity and talents to become global leaders of corporations and communities." The foundation of the New Look Foundation is mentoring young people and providing them with unique opportunities to develop their leadership skills. Usher’s emphasis on youth is plausible for his passions and personal experience in that he himself is a young musical icon creating music in a wide target market, including young teenagers.

The New Look Foundation is distinguished from other organizations by four different goals: providing holistic training for managers; making public ministry a popular activity for young people; promoting a global perspective through social entrepreneurship campaigns; and positioning young people as agents of change in their communities. The non-profit organization offers a number of programs, including Academy of new look , Graves in training (MIT) and Works in the service The Leadership Academy is a two-year program in which students in secondary schools of 11 and 12 grades are participating in an intensive, experience-oriented program of study. The program focuses on the disclosure and promotion of personal development in the areas of production, career development and charity. MIT serves young philanthropic entrepreneurs and supports the responsible distribution of local Works in the service grants (also provided by the New Look Foundation). Powered by Service - $ 500 grants offered to 12-25-year-olds to support the unique talents of young people in providing creative solutions that meet the needs of the community.

New Look Foundation is managed by dedicated staff and active advice with a variety of knowledge and experience. Together, people create a team of professionals who push the organization forward, raise funds, develop programs, and assist in maintaining the active growth of the New Look Foundation.

Since 2005, Council President Sean Wilson has been able to lay the foundation for activities from one city to seven, and also support board membership to cover a wide range of professionals.

One such professional is the vice-chairman of the council, Virgil Roberts. With great interest in foreign affairs, Virgil Roberts first studied political science with an emphasis on international relations at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He later decided to get a law degree from Harvard Law School, where he received a law on JD legal law, mainly focused on civil disputes, and over time he developed an experience of representing clients mainly in the recording industry. For many years, Virgil Roberts has also been an active philanthropist and active participant in social events. He received numerous awards for his service to the community by a number of organizations, including (but not limited to) the Los Angeles City League and the NAACP Foundation for Legal Protection and Education.

In addition to the entertainment industry, board members are included in a wide range of industries and professions, including: sports (Ken Yaffe), broadcast (Brenda Freeman), tourism (Lorenzo Creighton); law (Sherilyn Pillsbury); and financial management and consulting (Cammie Rice, Solomon Smallwodd and Scott Mead).

Scott Meade, a board member and investment banker, was born and raised in the United States and then moved to the UK. Today he is a co-founder and partner Richmond Park Partners , a merchant bank based in London. Previously, Mead served as a partner and manager Goldman Sachs for almost seventeen years. In addition to his professional activities, Scott Meade is an active philanthropist who sponsors a number of charitable initiatives, including Mead Family Foundation which focuses on providing support in education, the arts, health care and medical research. In addition to his responsibilities as a board member of the New Look Foundation, Mead is also a member of a number of councils serving various charities, including the Board of Visitors at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Although their professional experience is diverse, members of the New Look Foundation have two common characteristics: the pursuit of excellence and the active support of young people in the community.

By actively expanding its capabilities across borders, the New Look Foundation constantly creates new partnerships with like-minded people, non-profit organizations such as UN Foundation and Clinton Foundation Corporation for National and Public Services Most recently, the foundation began its first training session in London by a mentor in partnership with Brunswick Youth Club and LoveLife Generation The partnership with these two organizations is organic, since both organizations have focused their efforts on providing a safe and supportive environment for youth development and growth. The training session was led by three mentors selected from the New Look Foundation, and focused on finding creative ways to improve local communities. Asher attended the event along with board member Scott Mead, who currently resides in London. "I feel privileged to help expand [the foundation's] walk to London, ”says Mead,“ and I know that this will leave our youth as a result. ” From the international initiative, co-chairman and president Sean Wilson said: “We are very pleased to present the model of the New Look model to London. We are constantly working to expand our global reach. We have prepared young people in the Philippines and Kenya and look forward to a positive impact on the London community. “As an added bonus and reward to those who completed the leadership training session, Asher presented tickets for his concert to London teenagers.

From its initial discovery to today, the Usher New Look Foundation has come a long way. To date, the organization has provided more than 150,000 hours of leadership training and mentoring and works with nearly 10,000 young people from around the world.
