How would you like to live a life practically free from the pain and disease? My Funny Commandments - Your Decision.

How My Funny Commandments were Created

More than two decades ago, I began to create Funny Commandments from my work with patients with chronic and chronic illness. These patients taught and inspired me to use the incredibly powerful natural medicine of humor both in my treatment and in my own life. Since my patients flourished under the auspices of natural medicine of humor, so was my ... because I really need medicine in the form of humor, or more, than my patients.

I had a great family, a wonderful house, a lot of expensive “toys” and a brilliant career as a psychiatrist. But by the end of the 1970s, I realized that everything was bad for me. I learned to be funny, but I didn’t know how to have fun. I felt joy, but I did not celebrate life. I could do good things, but I could not freely use my achievements.

Does it even remotely sound good to you? In contrast, I realized that many of my patients are doing a great job with me. They were able to have fun even in the midst of the pain, insecurity and fear that accompanied their diagnoses. Therefore, because they encouraged me to use the natural medicine of humor to change my own life, my patients also convinced me to write down my conclusions so that they can share in many ways. The results of these original essays were called “The Mistress of the Commandments” and served as the basis for my recipe for Fun Factor, an innovative masterpiece that teaches you, step by step, to use the amazing power of humor to overload every area of your life,

My current recipe for the Fun Factor is the culmination of decades of follow-up research, practice, learning and applying my Funny Commandments to my patients. I actually went on a national tour as a persistent comedian to do research! (I hope you did not have to sit on any of my speeches). I continue to work (and play) with world-renowned practitioners of humor, such as Mr. Jerry Lewis, whom I considered to be a college, friend and fan for more than ten years! If you combine all the amazing lengths, I went to learn the healing effects from my national perspective as a professor and former vice-chairman of the University of Louisville School of Medicine of Psychiatry, you quickly realize that I am the only doctor in the world with the qualifications and experience to teach you my recipes are fun commandments and fun factor.

Laws of Commandment by Dr. Kuhn

1. Always go for an extra grin.

Of all my Funny Commandments, it gives you the most energy. This is one of the most effective strategies to increase the pleasure in your life. A smile is a way to open your heart and at the same time touch the hearts of others. We measured stress reduction, improved immunity, increased tolerance to pain and disorders, as well as a higher level of creativity - even from a “fake” smile!

2. Tell the truth

Of all my Funny Commandments, it helps you keep an inventory of yourself. Our nature of humor is open windows to the truth; therefore, if you want your sense of humor to be strong and accessible, you must make an effort to be true to yourself. This commandment promotes confidence in yourself and keeps you at a steady speed forward, as you will be much more aware of what works in your life and what does not.

3. First you laugh with yourself.

Of all my Funny Commandments, it helps you take yourself less seriously. When you make a mistake, laughter with yourself prevents you from beating yourself. It enhances your self-esteem, because it is a vote of confidence in yourself. This commandment sends you a clear message that you are fine. You know that your shortcomings do not form links in an unbroken chain, because you learn from them and become more effective.

4. Welcome your mistakes

Of all my Funny Commandments, this allows you to stop treating yourself so much. Jerry Lewis once told me that he was always nervous before he stepped on the stage, but "The trick is to use fear and make it your ally." In other words, do not be afraid of your mistakes - welcome them! In fact, your mistakes can be so helpful to you that I suggest making them on purpose. You will still be wrong. Making them specifically helps you turn your fear into pleasure.

5. Listen very carefully

Of all my Funny Commandments, this does not allow you to be too egocentric. Successful comedians will tell you that the ability to listen is the number one creative tool. However, listening is often overlooked and learning, and most of us are very bad at it, preferring to form our next phrases rather than hearing what we are told. To really listen, we have to pay attention to our inner chatter, and this allows us to communicate from our hearts, and not from our heads.

6. Visit often

Of all my Funny Commandments, it provides peace of mind. If you have ever learned how to juggle, you quickly discovered that we all have a tendency to hold onto objects for too long. The same thing happens in life, and since we are all jugglers — juggling with our family, our work, our community responsibilities and our own care, liberation is a vital skill that will prevent stress and give peace of mind.

7. challenge your assumptions

Of all my Funny Commandments, it keeps you open and learned. It is also an effective way to bring humor into your life. We make assumptions, because it saves time and energy in our busy lives, but assumptions may not allow us to grow and change if we are not able or willing to see new perspectives. Get in the habit of seeing things around you differently, and your sense of humor will be overwhelmed.

8. Stay focused but flexible.

Of all my Funny Commandments, this makes it easier for you through changes and transitions. This strategy is aimed at keeping your priorities clear, but keeping your opportunities open. You cannot help but become an inspired opportunist when you develop a trait that allows you to see the victories inherent in what you call defeats. As you will know, this trait is shared by all successful people.

9. Law and interaction with people

Of all my Funny Commandments, this gives you a constant and reliable source of entertainment. Reaching and touching someone is often a scientific skill, but it pays big dividends. Understand that the chances that you make mistakes will make mistakes, but they will happen less often if you want to learn from them. You will also find that failed action is much more valuable to your health and success than the inability to act.

10. Practice requiring what you have, not getting what you want

Of all my Funny Commandments, it helps to attract and retain abundance. One of the greatest paradoxes of life is that as you try to fill your inner emptiness with things outside of yourself, your emptiness becomes only greater. Learning to love what we have and who we are - right now, opens up the opportunity for us to receive much more, because we want something for the right reason. We are no longer trying to “fix” ourselves.

11. Choose to motivate yourself for pleasure, not fear

Of all my Funny Commandments, this teaches you how to set goals and achieve them. You really have a choice of pleasure or fear when it comes to motivation, and they both work well. The problem, however, in the choice of fear lies in the fact that it is impossible to withstand the motivation without causing harm to yourself from burnout and stress. To choose pleasure in order to motivate oneself is the simple difference between striving for positive goals, and not avoiding negative ones.

12. Celebrate All

Of all my Funny Commandments, it gives you abundant joy every day. If you make the practice of celebrating events that are usually considered routine, you will be filled with energy and spirit that you have not felt since childhood. It remained to choose between feeling, like an exhausted pessimist or a naive optimist (of course, I use two extremes as examples), why don't you choose the latter? In any case, your life will still unfold around you, but you will see it as a gift.

By the way, researchers doubt that we have a lot of unused area in our brain. It is true that you can use only 10% at any given time, but this is because your brain is segmented into highly specialized regions, and each region is used for specific activities. There are no large unused areas.

However, you can still unlock secret hidden powers ... using my Funny Commandments to change your paradigms and perspectives. I would not call them “mutant forces,” but you will no doubt soon like a life for which others will envy, because you will be even happier, healthier, and more successful than they are now.
