Creating a cabinet for herbal medicine for the cold and swine flu season -2

Headlines scream "swine flu." We hear horrible stories about risk groups, many people don’t want to get a flu shot or give them to their children. What are our choices? In these heated debates, no one talked about alternatives to natural medicine. However, my son has just contracted swine flu, and I can tell you that this is not an easy experience. Was he very sick? No. He was afraid and asked me if he was going to “die”? Yes. He had a low-grade fever that once pounded, and he had a small flock. Otherwise, he slept peacefully every evening and returned during the week. While he was ill, he was prescribed TamiFlu (the whole family took him). I also treated him before his illness, because I knew that this would happen, and I continued to treat him with herbal remedies during my illness to help the healing process.

Like many other Americans, I have a chronic health condition (migraine), but I am hypersensitive to drugs, so I don’t like to take prescription drugs without the need for them. Over the past 25 years, I have created a completely library of herbs and natural medicine of necessity. What I now have is herbal medicine, which I often use to help boost the immune system. I am not a doctor, but rather a layman who found herbal remedies that work for me and my family. That's what I learned and the products that I use for the cold and flu season.

European and German Commission E
Europeans are ahead of us on the topic of herbal procedures, where it is customary to use herbs and traditional medicine in an integrated approach to the treatment of the disease. Germany had the herbal equivalent of the FDA, called the German Commission E, which made it mandatory for all conventional medicines, medicinal plants, and phytomedicins (medicines derived from plants), which should be reviewed by scientific committees. For two decades, scientists, doctors and specialists from their pharmacological industry created 1000 scientific publications, and since 1997, more than 800 substances (mostly herbs) were listed in the German Commission E, recommending the use and dosage for each of them. You can find most of the results of Commission E in a book written by an American botanist named James A. Duke, Ph.D., called The Green Pharmacy. Herzog worked at the United States Department of Agriculture for most of his “mapping” of herbs and is considered “the world's leading authority on healing herbs.”

Brand quality is important
Here is what I learned from The Green Pharmacy and many other resources I have used over the years, including advice from both traditional and alternative health care professionals, extensive reading and research on the Internet. First of all, brand quality is important when buying herbs. Enzymatic therapy is one of the best herbal brands on the market. Most Enzymatic Therapy products are combined herbal formulas (combining two or more herbs) for specific alimony. My favorite enzyme product is called Air Power, an expectorant that includes guayfenezin and fenugreek. Fenugreek is a key ingredient because it enhances the effect of guaifenesin. This product smoothes and loosens mucus and cleans the airways. This is the best product I have ever found for bronchitis, and relieves you of any type of chest congestion.

Another brand that I use most often is Solaray, because it is a great high-quality brand that is inexpensive but works very well. I use the Solaray brand for most of my other herbs, including Golden Seal, which is the next major product for any pharmacy cabinet.

The root of the golden seal is the herb used for centuries before the discovery of antibiotics. Clinical studies in Germany for many years have shown that Golden Seal activates special white blood cells (macrophages), which are responsible for the destruction of bacteria, viruses, fungi and tumor cells. Thus, you get one or two hits with this herb, because it fights bacterial infections, creating an immune system. If you combine Air Power and Golden Seal root with AirBorne, yes, the same AirBorne, created by a teacher to increase your immunity, you have an arsenal that can help fight any respiratory diseases.

Anti Virals
I was always told that if you have a virus, so that it can start its course, because you cannot do it. Not true. I found that there are many antiviral herbs that help your body fight viruses, improving your immunities. The best antiretroviral drug I found is called Blockade. It includes ViraBlock (Elderberry), which blocks the penetration of viruses into human cells and prevents the reproduction of viruses. It starts working as soon as it hits your tongue in the form of a tortilla. I actually healed my elderly mother from the oncoming train due to illness last winter after she refused to leave her cold apartment for three days after the ice storm!

Calm cough
A study published a few years ago showed that over-the-counter cough medicine didn’t do anything to cough a baby. Well, tell us (mothers) what we didn't know yet. How many nights did you sit down with your sick child while they were taken, until they were well drunk? Here is the solution - Refincain Oil & Mercury Cold & Flu Prevention Rubbing Oil. Remember how your mother rubbed the wand on your chest and how unhappy you were all night. This product is a rubbing oil that you massage into your baby’s feet (you can also use it). It boosts immunity; It is antibacterial and antiviral and keeps these coughs at night. Miracles happen.

Flu remedies
I have not had the flu since 1986. I order a homeopathic flu kit every year. You can buy them in several forms, but the one I receive contains four bottles, and you take one single bottle every week for four weeks, and you're done. These kits are not available until mid-October, because companies create formulas just like flu vaccines - with tiny traces of viruses so that your body creates immunity to the virus and can fight against it. You can find them at http://www.elixirs.com. I am waiting now as I sit and look calmly while the whole hysteria over the swine flu vaccine revolves around me.

Doses
Dosage is especially important with herbs, and here you, the consumer, must do your homework. Remember that herbs are extremely mild compared to over-the-counter (over-the-counter) or prescription drugs. Over the years of research, I have found a dosage that works for me — three capsules three times a day instead of one to three tablets per day on most labels. If you are not taking enough grass, it will not work, so contact your health care provider and do some research. For every other remedy for a mixed formula, such as Air Power, I follow the labeling instructions, because mixed formulas are more effective than individual herbs. The most toxic herbs are not on the market and have never been, not even in Europe. If you are taking several prescription drugs, you should ask your doctor about any possible interactions between herbs and medicines.

Are herbs safe?
People often ask me if herbs are safe. I will let the expert, Dr. James Duke, Ph.D. talk to him with a direct quote from your book: “To use herbs, you need to have basic background information ... This is no different from conventional medicine ... First of all, you get the right things. I am absolutely sure that the personality of the grass does not accept it. This applies mainly to people collecting plants in the wild. ” He further says: “Most Americans believe that pharmaceuticals prescribing them are undoubtedly better than herbal medicines ... I was a botanist who specialized in medicinal plants for most of my 30-year career, and I personally saw how medicinal herbs successfully treat conditions that high-tech pharmaceuticals could not touch. ”

Why i use herbs
People often ask me: “How do you know all this?” I have two answers; firstly, I was always curious, and secondly, because I have a chronic illness (as I mentioned earlier). I'm like a dog with a bone. I searched for years for a solution, and along the way I learned a lot about everything related to natural medicine. I still have episodic migraines, but I was able to live a much healthier life using herbs.

And just in case you didn’t know, Americans spent a whopping 15 billion dollars on herbs and supplements in 2007 (latest statistics), but this only includes products that are tracked through health food stores if you add unconventional directions, such as a grocery store. and pharmacies, etc., it is estimated that the herbal market is growing at a whopping 79.5 percent a year! Another tip is needed in this article: never buy your product from a grocery store or a pharmacy - brand quality is terrible and you will spend your money.
