 Little House on the Prairie (Season 8) DVD Review -2

Nominated for 17 Emmys, including one Golden Globe for the best series - Drama, Little House on the Prairie - one of the most popular shows in the history of television. Based on the autobiographical series of Little House books written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, the exhibit explores the inner workings of a small city and family on the 19th-century American border. Director / co-executive producer Michael Landon (from Bonanza and Highway to Heaven) also wrote one third of the episodes (besides playing the main role as the father of the Charles family, when the actor initially gave the part failed to show). Charles will be one of the most popular characters of the show, and Little House On The Prairie will be the American favorite, which will be ten successful seasons.

A small prairie house follows the life of the Ingall family, as they settle on the banks of Plum Creek in Walnut Grove, Kansas, in the 1870s. This pioneer family, the story is visible through the eyes of Ingalls. the middle daughter, Laura (Melissa Gilbert), who experiences all the normal growing pains and emotions of a young girl growing on the prairie. Carpenter Charles Ingolles (Michael Landon) and his former school wife, Caroline (Karen Grassle), lead a family of three, which includes two additional daughters: Mary (Melissa Sue Anderson) and Carrie (Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush). The city also includes attractive actor supporting characters such as walnut school teacher Eva Beadle (Charlotte Stewart), city doctor Hiram Baker (Kevin Hagen), pastor Robert Alden (Dubbs Greer), and family friend Isaiah Edwards (Victor Franz) rich family Oleson and many other characters ...

The Little House On the Prairie DVD (Season 8) includes a number of dramatic episodes, including the season premiere of Nelly's Reincarnation, in which Percival and Nelly decide to move to New York to take over the family business. Meanwhile, Olesons decide to adopt a child in order to take the place of Nelly. During a visit to a nearby town, they discover a girl who is the spitting image of Nellie as a girl, but she turns out to be more complex than Nellie ever was.
